The Forest House, circa 1888 is likely the oldest building once operated as a hotel on Main St. in Old Forge that is still in existence. It functioned primarily as The Forest House through a series of owners until it was purchased at public auction in 1987 by Jim and Judy Herron.
Today it serves as the office of Century 21/Herron Realty.
