Enchanted Forest / Water Safari
Opened in July of 1956 as Enchanted Forest, it featured Paul Bunyan and Storybook Lane Little Houses. Through 1976 it grew to include daily circus shows, a one-half mile Skyride, and a replica of an Adirondack Indian village. Purchased by the Noonan family in 1977, the Enchanted Forest/Water Safari in NYS’s largest water theme park. Paul Bunyan still welcomes guests to the park.
